Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Associate Consultant proficient in dynaTrace to join our team in Chennai. As an Associate Consultant, you will be responsible for creating innovative solutions using New Relic One and deploying them to production environments to maximize value for our clients. This role involves end-to-end execution and implementation of New Relic solutions across diverse customer environments, including On-Prem, Cloud, and Hybrid Cloud setups. Additionally, you will be involved in projects from inception to completion, conducting Proof of Concept (POC) activities and ensuring seamless implementation.

Responsibilities:

  • Expertly create and deploy solutions using New Relic One to optimize customer performance.
  • Execute New Relic solutions across various customer environments, from inception to full implementation.
  • Present and demonstrate Application Performance Management (APM) capabilities to prospective clients.
  • Address customer challenges and collaborate with vendors to provide customized solutions when necessary.
  • Demonstrate a deep understanding of application architecture and possess strong Root Cause Analysis (RCA) skills.
  • Work on Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) projects and demonstrate proficiency in SOAP and REST-based architectures.
  • Utilize alerting systems effectively and handle incident management.
  • Collaborate with the team to enhance APM processes and tools continuously.
  • Develop and monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to ensure performance aligns with business objectives.
  • Provide expertise in planning, designing, and maintaining applications utilizing various tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, Nginx, Linux, New Relic, and Data Dog.
  • Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in enterprise monitoring, including APM, synthetic monitoring, browser monitoring, and log monitoring.
  • Generate health and performance reports, develop AIOps rules, create alerts, and customize dashboards.
  • Assist in workload creation and user onboarding.
  • Provide operational support for enterprise monitoring tools.
  • Aid application support teams in developing and deploying effective monitoring profiles for key applications and services.
  • Ensure compliance with quality standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies.
  • Strive for positive customer experiences and Customer Satisfaction (CSAT) through First Call Resolution (FCR) and minimized rejected resolutions or reopened cases.
  • Participate in value-adding activities such as updating and managing knowledge bases, training new hires, coaching analysts, and participating in hiring processes.

Qualifications required for HCL:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Technology (B-Tech) or equivalent.
  • 4.5-8 years of relevant experience.
  • Proficiency in dynaTrace is required.
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
  • Familiarity with NRQL, GraphQL API, NRQL builder, PromQL, and data export using NRQL.
  • Experience in APM monitoring for various languages and frameworks (Java, .NET, PHP, Ruby, Python, Go, C SDK, Node.js).
  • Knowledge of alerting systems, anomaly detection, and AI-driven incident management.
  • Expertise in browser monitoring, including page views, Ajax requests, JavaScript errors, and real user monitoring.
  • Proficient in coding languages such as Python, JavaScript, and Terraform.
