Job Description

As a Software Engineer Intern at Salesforce, you will shine and be part of a world leader in enterprise cloud computing. You will contribute as a member of one of our Scrum teams, engaging in various aspects of the software engineering lifecycle. This includes developing high-quality software, creating automated tests, and supporting our cloud services with monitoring tools and frameworks.

Key Responsibilities

Operate in a dynamic work environment to generate exceptional quality software.
Collaborate with the development team to design, develop, test, and deploy software products.
Develop solutions that seamlessly integrate into distributed systems, using innovative technology.
Contribute optimized code for future software releases.
Enhance our suite of automated tests and testing infrastructure.
Support and monitor various cloud services with tools and solutions.

Eligibility Criteria

Enrolled in sophomore year or higher at a college/university or any year at a graduate school.
Working towards a B.E/B.Tech in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Circuit Branch graduating in 2026.

Required Skills

Academic or professional/internship experience.
Quick learning ability for new technologies.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Self-starter with strong self-motivation.
Excellent communication skills for technical challenges and solutions.
Ability to navigate ambiguous problems and think abstractly.

Desired Skills

Experience with programming languages such as Java, C++, or Python.
Knowledge of web development technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and frameworks (React, Angular, or Vue.js).
Coursework in SQL and relational database concepts.
Strong fundamentals in Computer Science, including object-oriented design, data structures, algorithms, problem-solving, and complexity analysis.
