Your Role and Responsibilities
As a Full Stack Developer at IBM Software, you will be a key player in a DevOps squad, responsible for developing a new SaaS offering focused on SRE and customer support mission-critical use cases. You’ll collaborate with product management, the broader software development team, and our customer base to deliver innovative and distinct capabilities to the market.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop new features for the SaaS offering using React, Node.js, and NoSQL.
- Work closely with the IBM SRE team to manage and maintain the environment.
- Implement new requirements in a continuous delivery mode as part of a DevOps model.
- Collaborate with various teams to ensure successful product delivery.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
- Proven experience in Full Stack product development.
- Proficient in front-end and back-end development.
- Expertise in React, Node.js, and NoSQL.
- Strong foundation in computer science, including algorithms, data structures, and object-oriented programming.
- Experience with system design, software-defined infrastructure, and micro-services architecture.
- Hands-on experience working in a DevOps environment.
- Proficiency in working with Linux systems.
- Excellent communication skills, critical thinking, and ability to collaborate across teams.
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
- Direct Problem-Solving Experience: Proven experience in addressing and resolving client issues.
- Strong Communication Skills: Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with both internal and external clients.
- Excellent Organizational Skills: Capable of leading diverse teams and managing multiple tasks within a team business network environment.
- Agile and Scrum Master skills are a plus.
- Software design skills are valuable.
Good to Have:
- Experience with Cassandra, OpenShift, and Networking skills.
