About the role
- Receive, inspect, and store materials, equipment, and supplies
- Maintain optimal stock levels through regular inventory audits
- Implement stock rotation procedures (FIFO/LIFO)
- Ensure proper storage conditions to prevent damage or deterioration
- Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for timely procurement
- Process purchase requisitions and maintain vendor records
- Issue materials to departments based on authorized requests
- Monitor and control inventory shrinkage and wastage
MIS and Reporting
- Generate daily, weekly, and monthly inventory reports
- Maintain accurate databases of all store transactions
