Appointed under the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021, the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020 and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

2. What you can raise

  • A fraudulent or fake job, or anyone asking you to pay for a job.
  • Unlawful or harmful content, such as a defamatory review or content that reveals your personal data.
  • A privacy request or complaint: access, correction or erasure of your data, or withdrawal of consent.
  • A complaint about a paid service, or about your account being suspended.

3. How to raise it

Email support@jobsearchers.in with:

  • your name and the email address on your account (if you have one);
  • the link to the job, review or page concerned;
  • what is wrong and what you would like us to do;
  • any screenshots or documents that help.

For content that is sexual, impersonates you or exposes private images, say so in the subject line: we treat these as urgent.

4. Our timelines

24 hours

We acknowledge your complaint.

15 days

We resolve it and tell you what we did. Privacy requests are answered within 30 days at most.

24 hours

We remove content that exposes intimate images or impersonates you, as the IT Rules require.

5. If you are not satisfied

  • Privacy complaints: the Data Protection Board of India, under the DPDP Act, 2023.
  • Content decisions: the Grievance Appellate Committee under the IT Rules, 2021.
  • Paid services: the National Consumer Helpline (1915) or your consumer commission.
