Introduction to the Team

The Identity Profile team is part of EG Identity and owns the profile data for every user across Expedia Group brands. We build and run the services behind the Universal Profile, including profile storage and APIs, the profile business events consumed across EG, and the integration paths into sign-in and checkout. We are a hands-on, AI-forward team: engineers use agentic tools for development, triage, and documentation, with a strong emphasis on review quality and clear specs.
